Our Beliefs
Our Story
Our name was inspired by Les Diners de Gala, a cookbook created by the Spanish Surrealist artist Salvador Dali originally published in 1973. More than a cookbook, this artist book and archive lives on as a layered document displaying Dali’s expansive imagination and providing a window into the lives of Dali and Gala, his wife and life-long muse.
The surrealist dinner parties that Dali and Gala hosted were manifestations of the creative process where performance, experimentation, and a diverse array of food, textures, colors, and collaborations were brought together and celebrated at the table. This vision of the table as a catalyst for creativity, innovation and connection is what inspires us.
